How We Write

Our Content Process

Every guide on Global Game Guides follows the same creation pipeline. We don't outsource, we don't republish, and we don't write about games we haven't played.

1. Game Selection — We pick games based on player demand, trending charts, and community requests. We prioritize games with active player bases and guides that actually help people get unstuck.
2. Gameplay Phase — Each writer puts in a minimum of 20 hours before writing a single word. For complex games like Elden Ring or RimWorld, that number is closer to 100 hours. We don't speedrun coverage.
3. Writing Phase — Guides are written in a first-person, conversational tone. Every tip is backed by a real playthrough experience — if we say something works, we've tested it. If we found a cheese, we explain exactly how we stumbled into it.
4. Peer Review — Before publication, every guide is reviewed by at least one other writer. They check for accuracy, clarity, and missing information. If something doesn't make sense, it goes back for revision.
5. Publication — The guide goes live with full schema markup (Article, FAQPage, BreadcrumbList) and Open Graph tags for proper indexing.
6. Ongoing Updates — When a game receives a major patch, we update affected guides within 7 days. Minor updates are noted in the guide's revision date.

Corrections Policy

We're human. Sometimes we get things wrong — a patch changes a mechanic, we missed an interaction, or a reader found a better strat. When that happens:

• Email us at renhongtao2@gmail.com with the guide URL and the correction
• We verify the claim within 48 hours
• If confirmed, we update the guide and add a note at the top crediting the correction
• If we got something seriously wrong, we'll write a follow-up or correction notice

We do not accept payment for guaranteed positive coverage. If a guide is sponsored, it will be clearly labeled at the top with a disclosure. We reserve the right to give honest opinions regardless of sponsorship.

Our Standards

• Originality: Every guide is written from scratch based on firsthand gameplay. We do not copy, rewrite, or rephrase content from other sources.
• Accuracy: Guides are tested and fact-checked before publication. When we mention a specific number (damage values, drop rates, timings), we've verified it in-game.
• Transparency: We disclose affiliate relationships clearly. We do not accept payment for editorial coverage.
• Updates: Guides carry publication and modification dates. If a guide hasn't been updated in 6+ months, we add a note suggesting the information may be outdated.
